The Teddy Bear Relay allows ‘Big Bikes’

Jason Percival

In 2016 the Relay changed policy to allow riders on big bikes (higher than 125cc) to take part. This was because members of national Blood Bike charities wanted to take part. This helped to grow the Relay’s popularity by opening the event up to the whole biking community. The decision to exclude motorways from route planning meant that the Relay could stay true to it’s roots and remain open to learners and 125cc riders.

We raised £10,000 for The Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB)
